hello.

haha. you know why are they so special? because every album that they make, its not only about the songs and pictures. but in every album, there is a deeper meaning in everything. (yes i finally got my album today after 1000 years since it was released)

and for once, i scratched my head and listened and read but i still cant really pinpoint something about this album that is very different.


and as the last song ended, i suddenly realised the whole point.


previous albums, they've been really good at sending out encouraging messages (eg love, hope, believing in music etc.), but this one, it is vv different.

you'll have all kinds of feelings listening to it. it is like a progression. its like singing out their feelings all these years.

its like, this point of your life, when you wonder is there anything more. grown a bit tired to the things of life. as if stuck in a block of ice trying hard to understand life through a medium, but at the same time, trying hard to get out too.

its like, after being so encouraging and all in all their previous albums, suddenly they realised that hey, reality is reality after all. the struggles. it is a very real album.


but at the same time, this little place in your heart..not giving up. it is like eliminating the bad stuff and everything, to welcome in the new, to live, again.


it is like the breaking point before something greater.


haha. ohman. so so different. but i guess i'll understand even more when i listen to it more. haha.

went to pasir ris today. and it wasnt as emotional as the previous previous time. (hahaha) it has been quite a while since the last time i've been there. or even going pass my old house.


ya its like weird.. it was my home for like, 8 years. and i miss miss miss pasir ris' calmness and peaceful feeling. you can never ever ever get that kinda thing in tampines.

i misssss walking through that park to get home. and walking to the mrt in the mornings. it gives you that space and imagination.


but i cant decide if i like tampines or pasir ris more. haha.


it would be perfect if i can move
tamp + all my friends + malls&shops - the busy mrt - the rest of tamp population
to pasir ris.

i just watched the trailer and it looks great. haha. i shall attempt to read those books again during my dec holidays. :)

but just one thing though. harry potter and lord of the rings sometimes get mixed together, is it just me? like i'll think for a moment, is it LOTR that has got this part of is it harry potter. haha. so actually, i've forgotten most part of the story alr. haha.

we were playing mahjong on sat night. and i only played a couple of rounds with them. then my mum took over.

today had rehearsal. but more than that, i saw and received something in my spirit. though i was super tired that if you just gave me a bed there and then, i would just fall asleep immediately. haha.


really. what a privilege to be serving under great leaders. God has placed such great great leaders over my life. be it in cg or ministry. seeing that kind of passion, that kind of conviction, that kind of unshakable faith, and how they really run with the vision. it really really inspires me alot.

anddddd im super proud cos my team totally won the event today! :) its really cool to see how different ones bond and build relationships. :) (and i scored two penalty goals! told you im torres already. hahaha.)

reached home pretty late. after bathing and all, had my steamboat at 1am. hahaha. totally cool. and my mum specially stayed up to prepare for me. it has been super long my mum last slept at 1am. its kinda touching but silly at the same time..

cos even with all my blurness, i actually know how to operate a steamboat. haha. but she still thinks that i'm a 6-year old. and she'll start giving me instructions and all. its actually pretty hilarious. then i'll laugh at her. haha. sometimes, i really need to appreciate her nagging more.

havent been feeling good today. recently having very weird dizziness/headaches of some sort. like for 0.1 sec i'll blank out that kind. and after that i'll be wondering what happened and my head will be throbbing from then on.





november is coming and i cant wait. so many things are gonna happen and it sounds like a busy busy month.

some people commented that other than schoolwork, i am actually very free. hahaha. so yes, i cant wait for all the busyness to come again. its gonna be soon soon what with all the projects coming up and the mega big huge AC.


i am so going to score well this semester.



exciting november and december. :)

went out with my primary 2 best friend today. and i havent seen her in 6 years. since her birthday is coming, thought of meeting up to have a meal.



it felt real good to be honest. we chatted non-stop and laughed non-stop. she is still as candid, straightforward, fun and loud. haha. like what she said, we actually do have lots in common. we totally can just tell each other everything and anything.

and not forgetting those 'do you remember?' talks. haha. it is so funny to look back and laugh at our childishness.


it warms my heart so so much. that even though after 6 years of not seeing each other, it was as though nothing changed since p2. and that even though so much happened in that 6 years, but it was as though we were still best friends. and even though we havent met in 6 years, she still knows me the best and i still know her very well as well.



maybe because the friendship forged in p2 was so pure and innocent.



and at the end of the day, the one thing that really touched me is that, though people/things change all the time, some things do remain unchanged even through the years. and i've learnt, that it is actually a very very precious thing.

and may i add, that it is quite amazing and strange. in p2, we had this clique of friends, and i was actually closer to another girl. but it is so amazing to note that, after all these years, she ended up being the one who stayed till the end and still make an effort to contact. the rest of them just faded away.

and you'll know and you'll know, just who really are the ones who really care.

hmmm. i'm quite sad cos i absolutely loved them in their military gear. haha. (who can forget the red military jacket ah xin wore in 香水's mv + his hair = droolsss)

and whenever they have their concert, they all make a majestic entrance with their boots and all. and halfway through, ah xin will be feeling super hot, so he'll always take the jacket off. lol.


so they are going in the boyish look once again instead of the polished and 帅 look.. they totally prove the point that age doesnt matter. haha. so i guess can pretty much predict their style in this album.


but really! i'm gonna miss their military stuff! they looked sooooo good in them!

i dont know what got me researching for libraries. but one day when i'm super rich i'll definitely make one like the British Museum Reading Room.


i had the privilege to visit it while i was in london 2 years ago (omg its two years alr). and my jaws literally just dropped once i stepped into the place. that place is HUGE and its COOL. imagine every shelf filled with BOOKS?

they have like, 2nd floor decks where you can go up. but i spent the longest of time staring and figuring how they climb up and i still dont get how. hahaha. i think there must be some secret passageway leading to those goodness that you can only find when you sincerely use your heart to.

i can just die man. having a library like that.

and i can put all my harry potter/LOTR books in this section dedicated to them, with all the different versions and covers. and all the different languages too. just in case one day i decide to go and learn other languages. haha.

and all my chinese books can go to this section, nicely sorted out and all.


and i can like, hire librarians to help me out. hahahaha.


i think lam jiaxin and cally loy will come my house everyday if i ever build such stuff. hahaha.

i was setting up my mac mail these few days. and i happened to click on an email sent in april.

nowadays i've been spending time with my sister. and its really cool. before the busy period catches up with her, her dance project next week, and all of her end-of-the-year projects.

hahaha. we've been doing the most randomnest of things. going to eat at BK, having oreo cheesecake/latte at starbucks. arguing how to get home in the pouring rain, and ended up laughing at each other. and sharing a super small umbrella that got both of us wet in the end. going to NTUC to shop for groceries. laughing at how she's sooooo into lu guang zhong.

hahaha. its really fun. :) its so nice to have a sister sometimes to share your joy.


OH YES. surina finally agreed to come with me for the concert!! YAY! but got to settle with $128. haha.
