I LOVE MAYDAY!

we had class outing ytd. (it sounds so secondary school. lol.)

and we didnt take a mahjong taitai picture la. haha.

it wasnt too bad la the outing. but i wish i understood the movie earlier. haha.


and i felt that recently, we bonded really well, esp for my mahjong taitais and a few part-timers. haha. its soooo fun laughing together! and things that only we can understand. haha. so proud of all of you.


and went back with eddie neo. and had an interesting talk as well. haha. didnt see things that way, and maybe he is right.


and and. i finally had my sleep. i kinda fell asleep at twelve plus ytd, woke up at 3 to finish my assignment, and slept allll the wayyyy till 230pm. satisfied. :)

i'm so excited for everything that is coming till the end of the year!


but before that, the super super super exciting concert of the year tmr! ahhhhhh. faves of the favourites. cant waittttttttttt.

but anyhow, the service that really really really impacted me has got to be the last one.

as the service was starting and i was admiring all the graphics and visuals in the small little container on the small little screen, God reminded me, "ting, remember that vision i gave you 1 year ago, and asked if you wanted to be part of it and you said yes. now see how it is coming to pass and you are right in the middle of it."

there and then i just broke down and cried. i was so so so humbled. really like what sihui said, who am i?? that 3 years ago, God came and touched me. and here i am now, being part of such an awesome church, being part of something that is definitely bigger, something that is worth dying for.

and God just spoke la. it was amazing. i was crying so badly that my eyeliner and everything was running into my eyes and it was stinging real bad.


and all those small and big things that God just spoke and impressed on my heart. haha. indeed God is good. He used different people and the different things that happened and gave me answers that i was kinda confused about. :)



and during the last part, when we all sang the chinese song and Friends, wah. i cried like mad too.

you know that kinda feeling? like its only in this place, that you'll find people and friends that you can safely trust your life to, and people who will always always be there, and we are all not even blood-related, but we are just all part of this BIG family. this is where i find all my true friends, people whom i am so willing to lay down my life for.

and remembering all the different friendships and different ones who came into my life and impacted me one way or another, i was just so grateful and touched. to really be able to be part of this.

but i was kinda sad as well cos i wasnt with my beloved e357. haha.

ahhh i think i'm like surrounded with super cute and funny people laaaa. :)

so after the tv was switched off she was too paiseh to talk in front of me, so she took this chair and put it at the balcony, which is beside the living room and sat there continuing to talk. i was stunned at first and i asked her, what are you doing?! and then she started to laugh and giggle and continue to talk on the phone still. (when i can actually still hear every word shes saying)

HAHAHAHA. i laughed for a good few mins!! OMG MY SISTER IN LOVE AGAIN. HAHAHA.

ya even though this whole week was kinda crazy, but like what sihui said, the joy of the Lord really is my strength. my heart right now is so filled.

i have the prettiest skirt in the whole wide world, really.

• when i reached home i saw this huge envelope on my table and i know that was IT. i was stunned for a while and i immediately tore the envelope up.
• and in real life, the skirt is as exciting as those pictures.
  
• immediately, i grabbed all the tops and jackets and tried everything on.
• then i ran downstairs and twirled my skirt in front of my mum to let her see how pretty it is.
• and then i took it off happily.
• hahahahaha.

i really love it to bits.
it has been really long since i last got so happy after buying something.

haha.

and you know why i love this skirt?

because it is so 'tingting'.
it really twirls together with me when i twirl,
it is flowery print,
it flares out and i totally love flare-out stuff.

i really like going for yang junwei's lesson. it is so enriching and rewarding.

made me realise alot of things in lecture too. and just thinking about how amazing everything is.

he doesnt really tell you the purpose of the activities, but instead, challenges us to reflect and think about them.

and it really takes someone who really 'has been there' and 'done that' to really teach and impart to this kind of level. someone who really experienced life, someone who really went through alot, or someone who really thinks deep.

you can really see the effort that he puts in. how he plans the class, every detail. to the point of sharing our drawings and thoughts as a class, it has a purpose. you can even see him, taking down alot of notes the whole time we were sharing. it really shows something.

being a good teacher is more than powerpoint slides and lecture notes, really.

and now after every monday, i'll leave the classroom so satisfied and challenged, knowing that i've learnt something that is out of the textbooks.

you know, how i dislike the fact that tampines doesnt have mr bean. and it is really agonising.


but one fine day, while on the way to MOS burger, i saw this shop that sells pearly soya.

haha.

imagine my surprise.that after one year, i realised tampines actually has got pearly soya.

and it is the same size as mr bean's, granted that it is not as yummy, but it is enough to make tingting's day. haha. and! it is at 1.80 too. not like the ridiculous jollibean.

and they have cheerful aunties serving you. haha.

so happppyyyyyy.

i am extremely tired.. whats more with walking on heels for more than 12h. (i'm so proud of myself really. haha.)



and thinking about the massive amount of work i got to produce by this week.
and all the different things that needs to be done.


haha. but its cool. i love being busy and feeling tired and knowing that i used my time well. haha.



and the expenses book really helped in disciplining myself. i've saved so much in these two weeks than in my entire life. haha. exaggerating but you get the point.


i'm feeling so happy now for no reason at all. perhaps for the fact that i'm so happy to be a child of God. :)

i seriously think i have The Coolest Lecturer in NP. (ytd coolest friend today coolest lecturer. haha.)

he is none other than, 杨君伟. i love love his lessons so much on mondays. it is so interesting to listen to his different experiences and then trying to help us understand certain values. super rewarding.

other than caryn and my little obsession over how well-groomed he is, he is really a very cool person. he has the coolest shoes really. haha. one of my hobbies to see what shoes he is wearing lol.

and he mentioned that he can't exactly pinpoint what is his job title, and consider calling himself 'a hobbyist' because he realised that he treated his job or chore more like a hobby than actually working.

so cool right? hope that one day, i can call myself 'a hobbyist' too.



and he said "Told my pastor, what an honour indeed to be called a Life Achiever and a Go Getter! I know I used the word “honour” twice now, but it does feel that way. This reminds me… I should plan my goals and continue to dream, dream, dream, and realise them while having fun too."

then i said, it is long for you, but it is super short for me! i'm not as short as you!


so she took both of them and compared the length and the difference was so huge then we started laughing for 5 mins straight.

so we concluded that shes gonna wear hers i'm gonna wear mine and we wont wear each other's. hahahhaa.
